vs

JCHS PANTHERS (6-0) VS WATERLOO BULLDOGS (4-2)
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 28 AT 7:00PM IN WATERLOO IL.

PLAY-OFFS BABY!

Mitch on his way to the endzone

Kimble addresses the media after the game.

Another Kimble to Kimble connection tonight as Mitch hit Crick for a 37 yard touchdown strike in the third quarter.

OFFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME
Mitch was 17 of 21 for 221 yards and 2 TD's. He also rushed for 150 yards and ran for 4 TD's.

DEFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME
Cory Snider had 8 tackles and 6 assists.

DEFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME
Kyle Obertino had a 75 yard Interception return for a touchdown. He ties a school record for longest "Pick 6" currently being held by Elmer Heath who accomplished this in 1930 for the Jerseyville Jay's.

SPECIAL TEAMS STAR OF THE GAME
Austin "Mr. Automatic" Isringhausen was perfect with 9 PAT's and a 27 Yard Field Goal. He just missed tying the school record for most PAT's in a game by one as David Wittman had 10 against Wood River in 1987.

SPEEDY RECOVERY WISHES TO GARRET!

Let's all hope that Garret Blasa is back on the field soon!

It was great to see Austin Turman and Koty Rethorn back on their feet and supporting the team even if they were not able to play.

Coach Jacobs trying to make some sense out of the "Bad Call"

"Yes Coach Jacobs, basically what I am trying to say here is that we are in the play-offs"

Jordan checking out the refreshments.

"Hmmm, how should I tell Koty that he has used up the team's year supply of tape and bandages"

Luke Shively had 3 tackles, 1 assist and one big QB sack

Corey Cochran leading the "Blue Crew"

This is just a small part of our fans filling up the visitor's bleachers. I hear that the Waterloo fans were very impressed that so many made the trip.

Who doesn't love Deanna!

I see Lauren, Kerry and Sam

Logan Metzler and Noah Jacobs were on hand tonight rooting for Blue!

Another great job tonight by our cheerleaders. By the way don't forget to check out the new "Cheerleader" page on this blog!
